Our team recently concluded another successful annual legal aid clinic, providing free legal consultations to over 150 residents across Freetown. This year's clinic, held at our offices and various community centers, focused on addressing common legal issues faced by individuals and families.
The clinic covered a wide range of legal matters including:
- Family law issues (divorce, custody, adoption)
- Property and land disputes
- Employment rights and workplace issues
- Consumer protection matters
- Estate planning and wills
Our attorneys volunteered their time to provide one-on-one consultations, helping community members understand their legal rights and options. Many attendees received guidance on navigating complex legal processes, while others were referred to appropriate resources for ongoing legal representation.
This initiative reflects our firm's commitment to giving back to the community and ensuring that legal services are accessible to all, regardless of financial circumstances. We believe that access to legal information and representation is a fundamental right, and we're proud to contribute to making that a reality for more Sierra Leoneans.
We extend our gratitude to all the volunteers, community partners, and attendees who made this year's clinic a success. Plans are already underway for next year's event, which we hope will reach even more people in need of legal assistance.
